Brangwyn ,Hi. Have you anything on Annie. birth date, place
marriage,Places ,her children . I have Whitta in the family from
Martha 1795 Pembroke only know a little about her but there could be a
connection though LLoyd seems not to come into either Whitta or
Burchell families. Many Whittas were in Cornwall and and others in
Sufffolk. I am sure you know that children were given mothers Surnames
or dead Aunts and all sorts so .send me Any snippets and I will keep
Look at the Green Family tree Whitta branch and do a google search for
Rex Whitta he knows a great deal. I will keep looking . Best wishes

> Hi Listers
> My wife's grandmother was Annie WHITTA Burchell (nee Lloyd). She
until she was 95 years of age and during the latter part of her life I
tried in vain to find out from her the origin of the name WHITTA.
There did not appear to be any members of the family with that name.
She lived in Pembroke all her life and her husband was a coach builder
in East Back,Pembroke. > > Anyone with any theories? > > > Bryngwyn
