Great news!! Eleven months after starting the project, I have just
uploaded the final 'U', 'V', 'W', and 'Y' sections of the
gazetteer in Tallis's Topographical Dictionary of England and Wales
(1860) onto my "Tallis" website feature.
'U' section contains 8 gazetteer entries, supplemented by a fuller
description of the river Usk (MGY).
'V' section contains 13 gazetteer entries.
'W' section contains 36 gazetteer entries, supplemented by three fuller
descriptions including: Welshpool (MGY), and Wrexham (DEN).
'Y' section contains 17 gazetteer entries.
There were no 'X' or 'Z' entries for Wales.
I have also made a minor change to the way the gazetteer entries are
presented on my website. I have separated the place-name entries from
