I think this is the marriage:-
15 March 1817 James Thomas , Glover of Llanrian parish married Elinor
Beynon in St Nicholas, PEM.
I collect Beynon information but I haven't found a link to this Elinor
meanwhile have you not seen the 1841 census ? That shows James and
Elinor with four daughters.
Lettice 22, Mary 16, Martha 12, and Eleanor 10.
I can send you a copy of the page offlist if you like.

It's a long time since I posted anything, so I hope I'm doing it right!!
Please put me right if not.
Can anyone help me with details of JAMES THOMAS, who is my great great great
grandfather. I have it so far that he was born in 1791, probably in
Newport, and died in 1850. His daughter's marriage certificate (7 April
1846) has his occupation as a glover in Newport. One small confusion, some
records seem to indicate that his name might have been JOHN, though I think
He married ELEANOR, possibly DAVIES, and had three daughters, identified so
far, the eldest I believe is MARY born in 1826 who married my great great
grandfather WILLIAM OWEN. Is anyone able to confirm Eleanor's maiden name
and their marriage date, please, or point me in the right direction?
Many many thanks
