So sorry about the slip up in how many ancestors we have through the generations.
Unlike some on here it seems,this 71 year old with 35 years experience of Genealogy was
quoting figures from Somebody elses aricle in the Daily Mail.
I printed that off,and put it on my computer,as it was in answer to someone wrote in about
Danny DWYER's W.D.Y.T.Y.A? programme.
It was whoever wrote the letter which appeared in the "Questions and answers
page"that I quoted.
So please folks,"Don't shoot the messenger!" I was merely quoting HIS
Figures of 79 million.
But having said that,Who the hell cares how many the true figure is?
I did figure it out some time ago how long it would take to listen to all those 80,000,000
songs that one could download on to your smart phones?
I think it was about 260 years,but hey! Don't try and work that out will you?
Me? I am a bit too old in the tooth to have a "Smart Phone"in the first place.
Not needing one that is!
And not seeing why do I need one?
Mind you,if I was stuck halfway up a mountain,or out in the Bristol channel needing help,I
probably might need one?
I only use this computer about twice a week which shows my enthusiasm for having one in
the first place.
On regards my Dyfed ancesory,I can only go back to my 3 x great garnpa David WILLIAMS who
was born in Llangadog anytime between 1792 and 1797?
I case your wondering[?] He was 68 and a "Butcher"in Swansea in 1861,and 74 ten
He was 56 in 1851,and I gave up looking for him in 1841 some years ago!
His wife Elizabeth was aged 56 in both 1851 and 1861 censuses.She must have been an
Actress? Neither of them were around in 1881+
