We checked the MI booklets for Maenygroes and Newquay cemeteries (both
published by the CGN FHS) and did not find a Mrs B/Beatrice Lewis.
However, Evan and Auronwy James gave my husband Dave their death index when
he took over as Publications officer and when he checked through this he
found a Beatrice Violet Lewis, died 1976, aged 85 at Y Wern Chapel,
Llanina. Grave 34. Also Ethel Blodwen d 1970 aged 79 and Myfanwy d 1981
aged 92. We wonder if these may be your relatives.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [Dyfed] monumental inscriptions Maenygroes
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Hi If anyone has the monumental inscriptions for Maenygroes cemetery . I'm
interested in a lady who lived in Blodfa (New Quay) in the 1950's I believe
she was a Mrs B Lewis ( I knew her as Aunty Biddy so possibly Beatrice ) .
There was also another lady in the same house but can't recall her name .
Aunty Biddy was alive in 1959 but quite elderly then . This is a long shot
,but if anyone who has access to these inscriptions who might be willing to
have a look and see if she was buried in Maenygroes. Thank you Buddug
