Subject: [Dyfed] Y Bywgraffiadur / Dictionary of Welsh Biography
Hello Gareth, thanks for the input on Averina and the pedigrees both of
which are very much appreciated.
Looking around the Look-up Exchange pages I notice that you still have my
AOL address as the means of contacting me. Can you change it to this address
One of the books that I have under my name in the Exchange is Y
Bywgraffiadur Cymraeg. It may be of interest to list members to know that
this book and its English language Companion The Dictionary of Welsh
Biography (DWB) is now on line on
It's well worth visiting this site and putting a surname or a place name
(or an unusual first name) into the search box, even if you don't think that
you have any famous connections - you never know what surprises might be
instore. Despite having owned a copy of the books for over twenty years, by
doing a few searches I found a couple of minor poets and a harpist amongst
my lot, who the census had told me were just Ag Labs.
What are you doing in Dublin?
All the best
