I visited Dreenhill Chapel last week having been told that some of my Hughes
ancestors were buried there. It is a tiny chapel on the road to Denant Mill,
just outside Haverfordwest. There were no Hughes headstones, in fact there
were only three headstones surviving. The chapel is about to be turned into a
private home by the current owners of the farm - also Hughes's.
I made a note of the details on the three headstones and hope they may be of
some help to somebody out there.
1. Lettice, wife of William Woodcock, d. March 11th 1873 aged 73.
2. William Woodcock, d. July 5th 1874 aged 73.
3. Ann Johns(?) daughter of Thomas and Mary Johns(?), d. March 24th 1865
They were quite hard to read so I hope I'm right!
