There are rather a lot of Henry Thomas around as you may well have
However - although this marriage took place in Fishguard, the groom's
occupation fits and a marriage was usually in the bride's village
Also if Henry was from Trelettert (i.e Letterston) then he would have
been quite near Fishguard.
Here is the marriage entry:-
15th Sept 1816 Henry Thomas , Ropemaker married Ann Volk in Fishguard

Henry THOMAS, Ropemaker, born about 1795
I have a second marriage for Henry THOMAS in 1847 (in St Dogmaels), in which
he says he is of Newquay, son of David Thomas, farmer deceased.
In the 1851 census he says he was born in Trelettert (no parish or county!)
I wonder if anyone can help me with his first marriage, perhaps in the
Newquay area some time after 1815. It's not in the Troedyraur Hundred
but I don't have an index for any of the other Hundreds.
And does anyone know of a Trelettert in Llanllwchaearn parish or nearby?
Any help would be appreciated.
