Despite what the migration schedule says this list hasn't yet done so, but
with 3 hours to go before midnight I guess it still might happen.
Makes me wonder whether RW's alphabet is the same as mine, I'm pretty sure
that Dyfed should come under D-F.
Perhaps they've had another 'aol moment'.
Anyway, there seems to be further confusion here since the default is said
to be plain text acccording to RW's Help desk's message below;
DIGESTS IN MAILMAN:
The default for digests in Mailman is plain text. If you prefer MIME and
your ISP can handle that, email the admin to 'uncheck' the plain text button
for your subscription. MIME is not recommended for AOLers. Email the admin
where you replace LISTNAME with the actual name of the list.
I need to be able to work through the changes for myself, which can't
happen until migration has
actually taken place and I am presented with new admin pages.
BTW, at least one list message bounced to a whole crop of aol - sters this

Subject: [Dyfed] Rootsweb's changes (Mailing List Migration)
On another list, who have already undergone the change, I had problems
being on the Digest mode which is sent in MIME format. This was because
would not accept it as such and so all the Mailing Lists were sent as an
attachment that had to be separately downloaded. The answer to this was
list administrator to change, at source, any AOL list, upon request to
Please could I ask you to effect the above for me as I may be away when
change takes place and would hate find, on my return, dozens of emails all
be downloaded as attachments. For me this is a lengthy process as I
have broadband. I am relunctant to unsubscribe and miss anything
that has occured during my absence.
