It's me again still on the trail of my HAVARD ancestors.
I've just received a copy of a bill from the National Archives which my 4x great
grandfather sent in 1766.
I'll spent the weekend deciphering the handwriting and mulling over its contents, but
in the meantime I'd appreciate any knowledge listers may have on the recipient - a Mr
My 4X Great Grandfather was a THOMAS HAVARD (another one! - and father of my army
corporal). All I know about him was that he was a merchant in Haverfordwest, married a
Dorothy Andrew from Steynton ( one of Rosemary May's tree) and died in 1778.
The copy of the bill I have just received is to a Mr WOGAN of Haverfordwest and was for
£10 - approximately £750 at today's prices.
Can anyone tell me anything about Mr Wogan?
