Would anyone with access to the 1861 census be able to do a lookup for me,
I spent some time last week at the National Library and located my family on
the 1851 and 1871 censuses but couldn't find them on the 1861, and now I am
back in downtown sunny Watford without that wonderful library facility
I am looking for David (30) and Jane (35) EDWARDS; in 1851 they were in
Tanygraig, Nantcwnlle, and had daughter Jane (7), sons Rees (5) and David (2).
By 1871 David (52!) was with 2nd wife Anne (27); son David (22) was still with
them and they were at Brynele, a farm in Nantcwnlle. David the son was my
great-grandfather - that's if I have correctly sorted out all the Edwardses
and Joneses, and of course the same christian names were used over and over
throughout the generations. And their ages are all very vague too. I am still
hopeful about pinning them down though.
Any help will be much appreciated - thank you.
