I see two marriages Benjamin Evans married Elinor Williams 10/12/1835 and
again a Benjamin Evans is shown as marrying an Elinor Williams 9/02/1836.
Both marriages are shown as Cardigan St Mary. I only have the index so I am
not able to tell you more.
It is unfortunate that there are two marriages so close together and both
men are shown marrying women with the same names. I wonder if the first
entry is in fact an error and may just be the reading of the banns. Anyway,
I hope the above information will help and not confuse.

Subject: [Dyfed] lookup please St. Mary's Cardigan
Could I please request help finding the birth and marriage in St.
(1) Thomas Evans abt 1799-1800 married Eleanor ?????, they had 5 children.
Elizabeth abt 1825, Henry abt 1829, Issac abt 1831, John abt 1833 and
Benjamin abt 1837.
I found a possible birth on the IGI, for Thomas abt 1800 parents Thomas
Evans and Deborah.
(2) Benjamin Evans abt 1812, married abt 1837, also Eleanor ???, they had
Thomas abt 1839, William abt 1842, David abt 1845, and James abt 1854,
living with them Catherine Williams abt 1813, possibly Eleanor"s sister??
Is it possible Thomas and Benjamin might be brothers? all events took
place in St, Marys Cardigan.
All help and advise will be greatly appreciated.
