For that early date, the baptismal records would certainly be those of
Steynton parish, which are kept at the Pembrokeshire Records Office at the
However, I haven't been able to find a baptismal record for my
g.g.grandmother, Mary SHARPE, who was born in Pill, Milford, in 1809.
I'm sure other subscribers to this list will be able to be much more
specific about you chances of finding such a record.

Subject: [Dyfed] Milford baptismal records
Fellow hunters - I found on the Welsh Mariners website a reference to a
seaman named John Atrey, born at Milford Haven, age 27 on enlistment
(perhaps 1808?). On 23 June 1808, he was pressed out of the Trader sloop
belonging to Novia Scotia. He was on board the Leopard in 1811. I am
wondering if during the transcription of the record, the 't' in Atrey was
actually a 'b' (Abrey/Obrey)? Is there a record anywhere of an Atrey family
in the Milford Haven (Steyton?) area around 1775 - 80? I plan to visit
Milford Haven in September and am wondering if there are any baptismal
records extant for that time period?
