First you need to find out whether they were Church or Chapel.
Try finding their Graves if you don't already know this information.
This will tell where to look.
If they were Baptists there will be no Baptism Record.
If Congregationalists try Capel Y Graig Trelech.
The register at Carmarthen Record Office, was a personal register of the Minister and
covers Baptisms from many Parishes.

Subject: [Dyfed] DAVID & HANNAH ELIAS OF CLYDEY
I am attempting to assist an aunt with her family history.
David ELIAS married Hannah HOWEL in Clydey on 9 July 1818.
As yet, I am only aware of some of their children, namely: -
Hannah born c 1826/27.
John born c 1830/31.
Thomas born 1833/34.
There is a large gap between the date of their marriage and the birth of
their daughter Hannah. There may well be other children of whom I am not
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has come across the baptisms
etc of the children.
