I have researched my family on both sides and we were very largely English and English-
speaking. I have the book by John Southall "Wales and her Language" with the
Landsker map in it. Pub. 1892. I suppose that was how it was then but in present times
things have much . changed
I do not live in "Little England beyond Wales" now but I did try to return when
life allowed me the choice. Sadly I did not feel at home any more.
I have a good selection of books about Pembrokeshire and Wales and a son who deliberately
learned Welsh as one of his many languages and corresponds regularly to Welsh friends from
his home abroad. So we still have links.
