Mine was higher than anticipated with the Ancestry test too. I am also 14%
Scandinavian which surprised me more!

I recently had my DNA tested, and I am 41% Irish. I should only be
Irish from my father's side. My mother is a Thomas from Tenby.
Historically, I realize that there was a lot of genetic and cultural
sharing between Ireland and South Wales starting from the fifth century. Is
anyone aware of any DNA testing specifically for Pembrokeshire. I am
wondering how many of the older PEM families have a high amount of Irish
DNA like my Thomas branch.
