As Sandra has noted there is a Dowrog Common just outside St Davids which is
clearly shown on the Ordnance Survey map - NE of St Davids.
On the 1888 Six Inch Maps - available free on the National Library of
Scotland site, you can find Pont-y-Ddowrog - 'Bridge of Dowrog' (south of
Dowrog Pool), which I would guess is the place you are after.

Subject: [Dyfed] Place name in Pembrokeshire
On a census I have what looks like DOUROG Bridge St David's.
Is this the correct way to spell this? Is this bridge at Rhodiad?
