Yes I have some unravelling to do. I have access to the 1841 & 1851 census
but need to corroborate this thread before moving on to far. Cannot find her
birth certificate which suggests its under another surname.

An off list update regard my quest. Received the marriage certificate For
Thomas Jones and Leah Morgans, Sept 1 - 1876 which confirms the fathers as
James Morgans (Farmer) and Isaac Jones (Miner).
Can now explore the earlier family connections as you mentioned in your
e-mail. Leah Morgan's mother may prove a challenge as I cannot find Leah's
certificate circa 1854. Suspect it may be registered under her mother's
