Ann became a widow after having 2 children: Catherine Ann CORNEY and Alfred CORNEY.
Catherine was my great grandmother.
She married William Henry FISHER who was born in Hot Springs, Bristol. By 1871 they are
living in Norwich, Norfolk. William is a railway guard. in the 1881 census they are
living in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Ann did a lot of travelling-from Newport to Bristol to Norwich and to Ipswich where I
think she died.
I have ordered some of the LDS films for Newport. I have looked at the parish church but
her baptism wasn't on it.
If anybody has any knowledge of this family please get in touch.
I am not sure about the significance of the S W in front of Newport.
