Guessing that Cwmgwenner was a house or farm name rather than a place
name - also that Joseph Edwards shown on the census could have been a
sibling of Mary - I eventaully tracked tham down in the 1841 census in
Llangeitho , Cardiganshire.
Would you like me to send you the census page or can you acces it
The detail shows
Elinor Edwards 15 dau of Evan Edwards Farmer
Thomas " 15
Steven " 14
Mary " 12
Joseph " 9
Elizabeth " 7
David " 5
John THomas 24 Ag Lab
Elizabeth Davies 20 F.S.
I hope this helps - come back to me offsite if you have any questions.

I have a rellie on the 1861 cens for Monmouthshire, where the place
birth is listed as " Cwmgwenner" thats what it looks like to me. Is
there such a place in Cardiganshire?
I know she was born in this county.
Mary EDWARDS was born Cardiganshire 1830, by 1861 she is married to
David JONES living in Rhymney Monmouthshire.
thanks for any input, Bryn
