David, who was a private soldier in the Cardiganshire Militia, married Sarah
on 9th July 1798.
Henry, a private soldier in the Carmarthenshire Militia, married Esther on
30th April 1801.
My Thomas, who is my brickwall, married Elizabeth Rees on 28th February
1807. (Witnesses were Stephen Hughes and Benjamin Morgan.) Unfortunately
there is no reference to any military career here, but I do know from
certificates relating to his children, that he was a 'corporal in the army'.
Could these three be brothers???
I have a notion that Henry and Esther ended up in Steynton with a couple of
daughters, but I could be wrong. (Must dig out all my notes)
