Could the second reference be Llanferran? There are two farms of this name
in Pembrokeshire, the first being in the parish of Llanwnda, near St.
Nicholas, Fishguard, and the second is located in St.Davids, both are on
the coast. I have seen many different spellings of Llanferran including
Llanverran. Hope this does'nt confuse you even more!

Help!!!! I am either lost or confused. At this point it makes little
difference. My wife's family bible makes references to two places.
Between the writing and map changes I can not find either location. The
first location is Lampeter, Cardiganshire which I think is covered by this
mail list interests and the second is Llanve??an. In reference to the
second location my wife's bible mentions an Admiral John Thomas of
Llanve??an. Would this be a title or just a mention of where he was?
John in California 80F and sunny today. Fall is just having a hard time
starting this year. We may just go directly to Winter.
