You're in luck.
Norton Mill Cott., Llanstadwell parish
John Venables, head, 34, labourer, b. Rosemarket
Sarah Venables, wife, 27, b. Rosemarket
Annie Venables, dtr, 14, scholar, b. Llanstadwell
Thomas Hy. Venables, son, 5, scholar, b. Llanstadwell
Martha A. Venables, dtr, 2, b. Llanstadwell
William Hy. Venables, son, 8(?) months, b. Llanstadwell
It would appear that Annie is possibly a half sister to the others
(Sarah would have been too young to be her mother).
A few doors away at Norton Hill:
Samuel Venables, head, 68, labourer, b. Rosemarket
Esther Venables, wife, 70, b. Rosemarket
Three George Venables, heads of families in Rosemarket and I noticed a
Mary Anne Venables aged 18 (I think) a servant in Llanstadwell.
I knew a Venables family living in Goodwick (north Pem) in the 1940's
and later. They were neighbours of my grandmother. My maternal
grandfather moved from Llanstadwell (Little Honeyborough) to Goodwick in
1906 when the Great Western Railway transferred its Irish services from
Neyland to Fishguard Harbour and I must assume that the father of these
Venables did the same. There are descendants living in Goodwick still -
one is called Joyce but I can't remember her married name.
