I'm a Rees too but no connection to any mentioned so far. Llandvilog is
probably Llandyfaelog. It shouldn't be too difficult to check out the parish
registers and the 1851 census

Subject: Re: Rees
I am also interested the the Rees family. My great grandmother was
Rees, born in Llandvilog (?) Carmarthenshire on March 19, 1834 or 1839.
is hard to read in the family Bible...but was written by her, and
tried to correct the year. I don't know anything about her parents,
siblings, etc. She was married to Henry R. Morris in 1855 in Wales, but I
don't know where. I have all the information from them on down to our
family, but none about her family before.
I would appreciate anything anyone could add.
Thank you, Agnes Morris Stipe (astipe(a)laughlin.net)
