Looking for informaton on my GIBBS line from Steynton, Wales. Can't
seem to find this place on a map. Is this the right spelling? I have
William Gibbs b. 1777, John Gibbs b. 1749, John Gibbs abt 1717, William
Gibb b. 1689, John Gibb b. 1662 and John Gibb b. 1634 all come from
Steynton. Does anyone know where I can find out more information about
the GIBBS line in Steynton?
Also looking for a place called LLANGYNDERNN in Carm. Has anyone heard
of this place? I can't find this either.
I would appreciate any help.

Steynton is a parish in Pembrokeshire, a village of that name on my Wales A-Z
map, just north of Milford Haven.
Llangyndeyrn is a parish in Carmarthenshire, there is a village spelled
Llangendeirne on the B4306 c 6 miles south east from Carmarthen town, same
place I'm sure.
But bear in mind it is more likely the parish , not necessarily the village,
that your people came from. It is the parish registers you will need to search
