Hello Ohio. This is Canada calling trying to give you directions in Wales.
If you have a map of south west Wales., find Newcastle Emlyn follow the
road Hwy. A484 towards Carmarthen. Follow this Hwy. down to a fork
of two major Roads, A484 and I believe A486. Just above that "Y" inter
section is SARON. Nopt obn your map, try and locate Drefach/Felindre, then
look across to the east you will see Pentrecwrt (I hope) just below this
is SARON. In aron is the Saron Baptist Chapel, lots of people resting there
including my ancestors. Over time lots of Jones have passed through this
area. There are a large number resting at Llanfairorllwyn, not marked on
my Map. Look to the north and you will see Henlllan, its in that area.
is on my hit list. Good Searching. John T. Lewis. sarglews(a)bconnex.net

Subject: PARISH LOCATON HELP
Hi to All:
I am trying to locate the parish where my 2nd. Great Grandfather was born.
only information I have is taken from family notes which say he was
Saron near Cross Inn on February 11, 1836 and married at the Episcopal
in Llanedy (Llanedi, CMN. I think)
In checking the OS map the only Saron I can find is just west of Ammanford,
CMN., but no where near the four Cross Inns listed in the index. To
the problem my Grandfathers name was Henry B. JONES and consequently
hesitate to request a lookup without more specific information.
I would very much appreciate any help, clues, or guidance in solving this
