Is it perhaps an almsman? I tried an occupation search on the National
Library of Wales site for the spellings you give but they all come up
zero. Two almsmen came up betwen 1600 and 1700.
If you give an example of a will you've been looking at I'd be happy to
take a look at it.

Can anyone suggest the meaning of Aliseman, Alizeman, Alise Man or Alizeman in Wills
between 1600 and 1700?
I have across it in Wills to date, but cannot be sure of the exact spelling.
