Just on the offchance I noticed that James Beynon of Egremont was the one
who married Catherine Scourfield of Narberth 23rd. April, 1833, ...John is
the next one on the list. You might have the same printout as I have, and it
is definitely skewed...however James is 6th. from the top of the list and
Catherine is No. 6 on the brides list.
In Major Jones Carm. Houses book Llandre is the only property mentioned at
Egremont.....home of the Protheroes who inherited Stone Hall, St. Lawrence,
in 1793 and moved there. Major Jones "Stonehall" article P.38 refers to the
of StoneHall after John Protheroe's death in 1807 and a third portion
"Newton West (237 acres) was held by Thomas Beynon aged 65, for life.
I have a copy of a chart (original at Haverfordwest) which was made by two
ladies who had Devonald ancestry,Skeel, Harries, Morse, Meyler and a few
other things.......and it shows that Mary Harries born 1826 died 1890
married Thomas Beynon of Rhydwen and Great Neeston. He died 1905 and their
son Thomas Harries Beynon married Elizabeth Williams of Llandre, Egremont
(born 1862 d. 1943). At this stage the Williams were lessees of Llandre,
but we have come full circle.
All these families appear to have intermarried down through the ages...this
does not tell you anything about Catherine Scourfield, but the place names
may give you some avenues to follow.

As there has been a lot of talk about Scourfields - I wonder if anyone
has any information about Catherine Scourfield who married John Beynon
in Narberth 23 April 1833?
I have followed her a bit after that date but don't know too much
