I am sorry that I used Welsh words which Vera did not understand - I
am not bilingual either. I think the only word which was not
explained, either in the text or in a previous posting, was "tyddyn".
Homestead or smallholding is the usual translation today, though I'm
not sure that it would have had exactly the same meaning in medieval Welsh.
