Hi: Baptists don't baptize infants so if you are looking for a birth (baptism), you
have to find them when they are adults. If she was married in that particular area, I
would look for the baptism at the time of her marriage or just before. I have this in my
own family and I never did find his birth or baptism and I gave up and took the age off
the census and skipped it. If you are looking for his parents, look at manuscript
records; you may find something there. I don't know that much about Pembrokeshire,
but it seems to me that the Record Office in Haverfordwest could help you. Annie

My ancestor John JOHN married Elinor HASSELL (or HASSALL?) in Little
Newcastle, PEM in 1805, according to a Dyfed FHS transcript. Descendants and
relatives of the family were Baptists, so I suspect that Elinor was as well.
I haven't been able to identify where Elinor might have been born; there are
no other HASSELL/HASSALL events that I can trace in Little Newcastle. Does
anyone have suggestions where I might look for her?
