I'm having a frustrating evening, so I thought I'd ask the list to see if
anyone can help me. I may simply be suffering from a mental block / brick
wall and it's late, but I just can't find a marriage reference that I thought
I had in my files - anyway, it's vanished!
I'm looking to verify a marriage that took place in Clarbeston in 1819 between
a John BOWEN (a gardener) and a Rebecca / Rebecka BOWEN (not sure if related?)
- Rebecca was the daughter of William and Phoebe BOWEN (of Clarbeston).
Also, not in my files were the records of marriages of Rebecca's sisters -
Lettice BOWEN marrying a Caleb Evans? and Mary BOWEN marrying a William
Does anyone have access to these three marriage records, which most probably
are all Clarbeston?
Many thanks and fingers crossed!
Kind regards, Sarah in Northumberland.
Is this enough confirmation of the first?:
John Bowen married Rebecca Bowen April 20th 1819 Clarbeston
A Caleb Evans of Llawhaden married Anne Sermon(?) March 5 1819 Clarbeston
A Lettice Bowen married Ebenezer Gibbon June 15 1824 Clarbeston
No Mary Bowen or William Morris married in Clarbeston in the period
