David MORGAN and Sophia MORGAN married on 4 Dec 1811 in Llanfihangel
Geneur Glyn and had 12 children:
John 1811, Richard 1813, David 1814, Eliza 1816, Margaret 1818, Margaret
1819, Jonathan Bunce, 1821, Anne 1822, Sophia 1824, Jonathan Bunce 1826,
Richard 1830, James Evans 1832
They lost several of their children in infancy, and Richard born 1813
was one of them, so sorry, not your ancestor.
There are 5 Jonathan Bunce MORGANs in our family and many others who
still bear the Bunce name in honour of Jonathan BUNCE 1701-1783 of
Glanfred. The father of David Rees MORGAN was Jonathan Bunce MORGAN,
son of David and Anne MORGAN of Glanfred.
I had noted your Richard aged 67 widower and David aged 36 (and family)
in the 1881 census and wondered who he was. What was David mother
called, and did he have siblings? May be their names will give me a
clue. Was Richard MORGAN, aged 35, the carrier at Talybont, a sibling?
David had a son named James who was 5 in 1881 - did he live at Lerry
View after marriage?
I am very interested but am not able to do anything next week, but if
you let me have some details, I will have a look through my information
