Other Listers have provided you with the census information you
sought..........for what it is worth a George Evans married Anne Thomas in
1800 at Martletwy and a John Evans in 1804 married Anne Jenkins (these
appear in the Bishop's transcripts).
On 21st May, 1814 an Isaac Evans of Bosheston married Mary Richards at
Martletwy...and other likely parents for your John Evans would be David
Evans, a tailor, and Mary Cole who married at Martletwy on 22nd. March,
Anne Thomas, mentioned previously must have died, because on 23rd. October,
1818, George Evans, widower, married Catharine Moore at Martletwy.

Pembroke 1817 He maybe my G/G/Father He is shown on the 1861 census for
Myrthyr Tydfyl as HD M 44 RAILMAN PEM MARTLETWY.with wife MARY EVANS WI M 41
DRESSMAKER CMN CARMARTHEN They appear to have lived in Myrthyr Tydfyl for
some time as 19 yo Martha was born there. Thanks for any help
