There was a John GARLAND and wife Dinah living at Steddfa Gurig,
Cwmrheidol/Llanbadarn Fawr, in 1875. Their "second son" William Henry
died on 24 Jan 1875, aged 17 months, and was buried in Ysbyty Cynfin.
John may have been a miner from Cornwall.
I think it is therefore likely that this John GARLAND married Dinah
BOUNDY in Q2 1871 Aberystwith as they share the same entry no: 11b 71.
Our interest in GARLAND arose from the marriage of Henry GARLAND (son of
John GARLAND and Jane nee POLKINGHORN) to Catherine MORCOM in 1851 in St
Agnes, Cornwall. Some of their descendants emigrated to Australia.
