You don't have certificates before state registration in July 1837 -
these records are from the parish registers.
I have obtained photocopies from Haverfordwest RO for pembrokeshire
marriages (at £1 per page) - but I don't know if you can do the same
for Cardiganshire or where you would send your request - maybe someone
else on the list knows.
The only extra information you get is parish (and sometimes occupation)
of groom and bride and the names of the witnesses.
No parents names I'm afraid.

The 5th June one in Dihewid fits the bill nicely. Are these older certs
available in the usual way, and do they carry the same information?
