Thank you for the explanations! in german this would be Cousin/e 2. Grades or 3.Grades
then (as long as you stay in the same genreration).
My grandmother used to have own words for relation-degrees like that.
For example the cousins were "Gschwischterkind" (sibling's children) and
their children then were "Gschwisterbackärbsche" (I don't know if this means
"Pack-Körbchen" or "Backerbsen"). Can anyone shed a light on this?

That's a wonderful photo, Annette. Your grandmother's cousin's daughter
would be your second cousin once removed. Your mother/father would be a
second cousin to your grandmother's cousin's daughter.
Grandmother Her Cousin They are
Your Parent (grandma's child) Cousin's Child 2nd cousin
You Cousin's Grandchild 3rd
You are one time removed from your mother/father's second cousin.
