What a great suggestion, Steve. Thank you!! (This will be much better than what
I've been doing - typing text into Google Translate one chunk at a time, which works
in a pinch but is very labor intensive.)

Subject: [DVHH] Translation solution
I recently purchased the Darowa Family Book. I understand most of it because it's
all names and dates with lineage numbers. There is quite a bit in German which I
I searched the Apple store and found an app........ "Scan and Translate"
This app allows you to take a picture of your book or other text source. You then adjust
the size and crop the needed text. Then select the target language ( what you want to read
the text in) and select translate.
In less than a minute you will be able to read the new text. You can even click on the
little speaker and the app will speak the text to you!
There are both free and paid versions. I suggest trying the free and if you are going to
use the app support the developer by paying the nominal amount for the paid version.
I thought this would be something to share.
