Some of the records that have been digitized and can be read online are so
indicated in the card catalog entry of that particular record. I know this
is true because they have done it with my book. When I found out LDS had
done this, I requested they delete living persons, but they have not done

Subject: [DEV] Fw: LDS Record Search Feedback
A friend of mine subscribed to the "new" site for the LDS family search.
She could not find some items so contacted them. This is their reply....

"Not only are things not all there yet. This site has not even been
for general genealogical research. the stated goals are to digitize and
on this site all the records we have in our archives, but that will
several years--they are digitizing images at the rate of 300,000 images
per day and it will take at least 6 years to do the job initially
This site is in a "pilot" situation--that is we are seeking
on how to present the data. There are a few different kinds of records
there to test with."
Thank you for your feedback.
