Not sure why you are asking for sks to look up when all they would check is FreeBMD and
IGI, which you can check for yourself. Here are the links if you do not know about them.
As for looking up who the parents are for any Maidment births, you need to buy the birth
certs at 7 pound a time to find that out. Not sure if there are any skss who are that kind
I found a record of the marriage but the likely births are less obvious. Have a look and
you will see what I mean.

Barbara The IGI has one birth in the time frame for a John Maidment
and Maria - nothing to say they are yours, though.
You could cross check these with FreeBMD and send for certificates
