There is a tree on Ancestry which says Mary Grace Beer married an
Alfred Burford, 13 Feb 1862 at Christ Church Adelaide.
William Bastow Beer was baptised the 30th Nov 1817 in Buckfastleigh, Son
of Robert and Julian Beer.
Robert Beer marries Julian Bastow the 14th May 1817 in Buckfastleigh.
One other interesting thing, according to transcript on FMP the
informant on Grace Beers death was actually William Bastow Beer deceased
Not sure how if deceased he could be the informant unless there are some
ghostly going on's.

In 1856 William may have skipped back to England by a newspaper report

William BEER dies in 1889 parents unknown [drat!!]
But when dear Grace dies at Fullarton in 1904 aged 82 her relative is
noted as William Bastow BEER, so confirmed that I have the correct
Her Funeral Notice says " Friends of the late Mrs. Grace BEER etc, no
