Subject: MORGAN - Plymouth, Devon
Nicholas MORGAN was baptised at St. Andrew's Parish, Plymouth,
Devon on 14
July 1816, son of George & Sarah MORGAN, mariner.
I am trying to find the marriage of George MORGAN and wife, Sarah, pre
anyone access to these records or come across such a marriage.
Oral family tradition states that George Morgan fought with Lord Nelson on
Victory. His sword, worn with this dress uniform was passed down to
later generations. Is anyone aware of any sites or institutions which could
confirm or deny George's involvement with Nelson and the Victory?
Any help appreciated.
