It very much looks as if there is a query on her age, either at the census
or at the time of her marriage.
There are three other Guscott families in Ide at the census- let me know if
you want the details.

Subject: NEW SUBSCRIBER - GUSCOTT
Just joined the Devon list to try to find out more about my husband's
maternal grandmother & her family - LUCY GUSCOTT. All we have is that she
gave her age as 21years when she married Moses EARL in November 1884 at
Woolwich. She gave her father as GEORGE GUSCOTT - Iron Moulder. The 1891
census for Woolwich shows her place of birth as Exeter.
Moses EARL was in the Royal Horse Artillery posted to Exeter 03.05.1882 -
26.03.1884 - obviously where they met.
Does anyone out there have any info. about the Royal Artillery (Royal Horse
Artillery) in Exeter at that time/a web site to find out more please?
If SKS could through some light on Lucy GUSCOTT & her her family we would be
pleased to hear from you.
