Glenda - I certainly hoped the guys did a clean install. I had some
"professional" work done and the computer wasn't any better than before.
Then I called on a friend who I have the utmost confidence in, he wiped my
hard drive and did a clean install. So far everything seems to be running
quite well.

I did have the upgrade professionally done, and so far everything is working
great. I'm very pleased. Deed Mapper is the last program I need to
install, so it looks like the best thing to do is just give it the old
college try! Thanks for everyone's input.

Glenda - Upgrading from one OS to another is not a good idea. It is always
best to do a clean install. I don't know how to do that so it is worth it
to me to have someone do it for me. I just went from Win2K to XP Pro.

Thanks to Bill, Tom, and Joy for your responses.
Tom, Did you upgrade to Win XP or was it a clean install? I forgot to
mention that mine was an upgrade from Win 98.
Glenda
I am using Deed Mapper with Windows XP Home Edition. Though I have not
been using it extensively I have found no flaws to date.
Tom Skeen
Is anyone using Deed Mapper with Windows XP? If so, are there any
problems or pitfalls to watch out for?
