JoLee--I can respond re: the small creeks--I use exclusively the Deed-Mapper
maps, and prefer them, but they seem to not include the small streams that
might trickle off and may appear on other maps or appear on older maps.
It's possible the terrain changed and the little creeks are no longer there.
I think I was once told that the Deed-Mapper maps are USGS maps, though I'm
sure Steve Broyles can tell us better. I do prefer the Deed-Mapper maps.
Also nothing is identified--they just include streams and roads and outlines
of other things I don't recall what they are. I think railroad overlays can
be ordered.

I have scanned and used the Topo maps, and I am the first to say it
would
help to have less clutter. But, having the small creeks is a
great help in fine-tuning.
