I'm running Deed Mapper on my Mac Powerbook using Parallels (which offers a
Windows environment) and it runs just fine. The biggest thing you need to
make sure of is that you have enough RAM to be able to allocate to both
operating systems. There are also free and lower-cost alternatives to the
Parallels desktop, but I can't speak to them. You could also try Apple
Bootcamp, but it is dual-boot, meaning that you either boot into Windows or
boot into Mac, and I want DeedMapper to run while also using my Mac

We've had an inquiry about running on a Mac with Parallels. We
there are folks who are doing this but we don't know the details. If
running on a Mac we'd love to hear about your configuration.
