Great idea Steve. Works nice. I like it.

Subject: [DMU] Possible new feature
It would be pretty cool to post your DeedMapper work on the internet so
other researchers or family members could see it. Indeed,
customers have asked over the years for DeedMapper to have the ability to
"create a web site" containing their project work.
Well, we've been unsure how to tackle this but the technology landscape has
changed to the point that we've now identified a method to create read-only
project web files. So we've created a demo and would like to have your
feedback. The demo corresponds to the metes and bounds sample project that
comes with DeedMapper. (If you're not familiar with the samples, open the
Help menu and select Samples to view the sample projects in DeedMapper.)
Here's the address for the web version of the metes and bounds sample
The web page is compatible with the Firefox and Internet Explorer 9
browsers. (Earlier versions of Internet Explorer are not supported. And we
haven't tested with Chrome, Safari, or other browsers.)
To operate the demo use the buttons to change scale or jump to the Table
View. Use the arrow keys to navigate. Do not use the browser's scroll bars
to navigate in the Plot View. In the Table View you can jump to a
particular parcel by clicking its blue Item number.
Features demonstrated: Accurate rendering of parcels and background maps.
Owner name display. Accurate copy of the Table View, with links to Plot View
Not demonstrated but assumed to be do-able: Handling of background images
such as topo maps. Printing of the Plot View area.
Would something like this meet your needs for making your work public?
Feedback on all aspects of the demo is welcome. You can
reply to this list or privately to deeds(a)directlinesoftware.com
If there's sufficient interest we'll put this in a future release, but we
have no date in mind at this time.
