I have Deed Mapper 3.0 running on Windows XP Home Edition. I want to email a
single deed, in the plot view, that I have filtered to "Current Selected
Item." However, when I try to save that one deed, in the plot view, to my A
drive or to another file on my hard drive, it locks up my computer. Can someone
tell me what I am doing wrong or how can I save the deed in order to send it
as an attachment to an email?
Have you tried saving it as a .jpg or other graphic format? I think there
are provisions for doing this with the program. I believe this will allow you
to preserve it in the plot view and send it as an attachment, or cut and
paste the picture into a document or email.
I'm not sure about the locking up problem, although you might want to reboot
your computer and then only open the deedmapper program before trying to do
this. Sometimes it seems that deedmapper has been a kind of memory-hog and
things start acting strange after I have been using it for a while..especially
if I have any other programs open. Rebooting might help.
