Where did your map come from? Is it a Deed-mapper map?
If not, you may not have loaded the map properly. Steve might be able
to help you with this.

Subject: [DMU] Re: Placing deeds on maps
The land grant I am trying to place is in (today) City of Chesapeake,
Norfolk Va. The date is 1693. The measurements are in rods. I can place
grant (after rotating quite a bit) but trying to line up the Northwest
and Indian Creek. They are both mentioned in the grant. The overall
configuration seems to be right just oversized so that the creek and
river lines do not
match the maps size. Too big of a plat for the map. The bends in the
approximately the right alignment just too large. The location today is
as the Northwest River Park. beautiful location. AM I making sense. How
get the two (plat and map) to match the contours of the creek and river?
