A lot that is 18 X 18 would be 324 square feet, 10 X 30 would be 300
square feet, and 18.33 X 18.33 would be 335.9889 square feet.
An acre is 43,560 square feet, so 336 square feet would be 0.0077 acres.
Rounding to two decimal places would give 0.01 acre.

Subject: [DMU] Feet instead of acres
I have a deed measured in feet. The total acreage is 336 ft according to
deed. Deed mapper says it is .01 acres. How can I determine if these
areas are close to being the same? This is a town lot that had a saddle
shop on it. Is this a large enough are in 1812 for a saddle shop? She
paid $31 for the lot so I am assuming that it was small even by that
