Marie,
Jim's suggestion worked for me. Cut and paste this into Deedmapper to see a
nice five sided plot. NW by W is half way between North West and West. It
might make more sense if the heading was called "NW between W" -Jan-

Subject: [DMU] Mapping "SW by W"
I have a survey map using the SW by W and NW by N coordinates. I can't
figure out how to map those two. By just substituting SW and NW, the tract
looks the closest like the survey map but doesn't connect right. The survey
map says the tract is 194 acres with the 6% allowance. But using my
substitutions it ends up as 234.8 acres.

Thanks!
Marie.
